The band of decoration around the rim shows two scallop shells, a crown, and a motto in low german, written in black letter: "scinct en drinct en god si gedinct" which translates to "Pour and drink and God be thanked". The beakers are 10.4cm tall with a rim diameter of 8.8cm. The capacity is 28cl, just over half a pint.
