Henry VIII Ouch (large)

Gold plate on pewter, with a large carnelian cabochon. These dress jewels can be seen in many of the portaits of Henry, and especially clearly in the Holbein paintings. The ouch measures one and a half inches by one and a quarter (3.8 x 3cm).
